James A. Holliman

James A. (Jim) Holliman has been practicing law in Jefferson-Shelby Counties for 40 years. Jim received his BS degree from University of Alabama and JD from Cumberland School of Law- Samford University. He is married to Judy Wright Holliman. He has a daughter, Lora H. Poe who is married to Frank Poe. Frank and Lora have three children, Jackson, James and Jonathan. Jim has a son, John R. Holliman. He is married to Debra Gordon Holliman. John and Debra have two children, Alexandria and Abigail. Jim has an extensive practice in family law. He is a charter member of the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar Association, a member Shelby County State Bar, Bessemer Bar Association, Christian Legal Society and Hunter Street Baptist Church. Jim was named Best Boss 2001 by Birmingham Magazine. He has been a delegate to three National Republican Conventions.
